The women, peace and security institute at Kofi Anan center in partnership with the Ministry of Gender, Child and Social Welfare and Swedish Embassy, started a 4-days training for local actors on preventing and responding to gender based violence in Africa.
The objective of this workshop is to support the people of South Sudan in training the local actors on GBV.

With partnership from KAIPTC, south Sudan was given an opportunity in their programming and in initiating partnership with the ministry.
After attending the workshop, the participants were awarded certificates of participation .
