The ministry of Gender child and Social Welfare in collaboration with UNMISS held a 3 day sensitization workshops organized on preparation for the launch of the SSNPS, SSPDF, and Prisons Services Women’s Networks.
With presentations from, UNMISS, MGCSW, UNDP and moderated by UN Women representative, these workshop served to kickstart the establishment of the three networks separately, forge strong relations among the female officers, as well as prepare them for the official launch and advocacy work of the network.
Participants
The main goal, is for them to become self-sustained, so that they can be able to advocate internally for gender responsive security institutions.
