South Sudan safety net project visit in Yei River county

2^nd June, 2022.

The ministry of Gender Child and social welfare was invited by the world bank and the ministry of Agriculture and food security to Yei River County CES for a 2-day visit (1-2/6/2022) to the sites where the South Sudan safety net project was being carried out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Upon arrival, the team was given a very warm and colorful welcome by the locals. Later on, the team had a brief meeting with the commissioner of Yei River County and later visited different locations where they had heart-warming testimonials from the beneficiaries.

 

 

 

 

 

 

“This project has touched and improved so many lives in this county. I want to thank the, world bank, Ministry of Agriculture and food security and UNOPS for a job well done with this project.” Said the Minister of GCSW, Hon Aya Warille.
